Hi! I’m Sally, owner of Holly Rose Photography. I'm a wife to Christian and 'Muma' to Holly, my beautiful Angel Baby and Alexander, my energetic and lovable Rainbow.

I would love to come and spend some time with you and your wonderful family. I'll help you to create beautiful images of those you love the most and record the emotions and memories of right now, so you can remember them for a lifetime. Because, like me, you understand that the true value of a photograph is so much more than the paper it is printed on.

I am based in Owston Ferry, North Lincolnshire, which is ideal for providing photography sessions across the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire areas of the UK. I am fully insured and DBS checked for your peace of mind. I am also a registered member of the Guild of Newborn and Baby Photographers and have over 15 years experience in working with babies and children.

I'm an 'on location' photographer, which means I travel to your home or your chosen outdoor locations. Lets be honest – are your most treasured moments with family likely to occur within a photography studio or at home while you’re doing the things you love? And I'm sure you'd rather relax at home than trek out with a newborn or young baby and all the gear you'd need to drag along with you! In all my work I love to use beautiful and flattering natural light, so avoid using artificial light when I can. However I do use additional lighting when needed in darker homes and situations where natural light isn't enough to achieve the high quality images I strive for.
My 'Studio Style' for Studio Newborn and Big Baby sessions is very minimalist and I stick to a neutral colour palette. This ensures that your baby is the true focus of every image, not competing against a multitude of props, distracting colours or busy backgrounds. Although I am trained in how to achieve poses such as the 'Froggy Pose', where baby appears to balance their head on their upturned hands, I prefer more naturalistic posing with baby comfortably curled and sweetly sleeping. The resulting images are beautiful and timeless, meaning any images you choose to display in your home won't look old fashioned or dated within a few years, and will tone in with any style of home decor.

My 'Lifestyle' Newborn and Family sessions are very relaxed and focus on capturing real, authentic images of your baby and family. I'll help you take the time to 'press pause' on your busy, everyday life and freeze some of those precious family connections and feelings that you'll all want to remember forever.
